I spend some time on Pinterest, collecting recipes and inspiring images. This one resonated with me yesterday and maybe it will with you too. Here's to just breathing.
Hey lady, I've been keeping up with your blog and I just wanted to tell you to keep your chin up and keep pushing! We're all rooting for you!
Did you see SNL last weekend? There was some random boy band playing and they were just OK, which led to the question, "How the hell did they get a gig on SNL?!!!" J blurted out, "You know that one of their dads is a producer or friends with someone important." Then, after declaring them mediocre, he said, "They're the ones who ruin it for the Meagan Gordons of the world." I was like, "What? What does that mean?" (It was unprompted) and J basically said that the detritus with connections need to move out of the way, so that the true talent (That's you--mentioned BY NAME!) can shine through.
I had to agree.
Also, this was before your post about the Babysitter's Club, so I thought that you'd appreciate that. :)
Thanks, Red (and J!)!! Love this story! It means a lot and brought me much joy! I just want to hug you both :) Adds fuel to the tank during these slower days, for sure.
Good one!!!
