I'm going exploring....

I decided to take some time off from class at the Chubbuck studio and I'm going to see what else is out there. I have loved learning the Chubbuck technique and feel like I've grown so much in the two years I've been at the studio. But I'm also feeling pretty comfortable. And that is never good when it comes to acting. So I'm going to shake things up a bit and see what else is out there. I'm auditing a class tonight where the teacher teaches "her version of Meisner" and I'm really looking forward to checking it out. And then Monday I have an interview with another teacher that comes highly recommended as well. There is one more that I'm considering checking out but I have a little time. I'm still working on a scene at my current studio and that should be wrapped up by the beginning of June. I might take a few weeks before starting up elsewhere and then I'll dive in to learning something new. I think I have an amazing foundation having worked with Ivana and I'm interested to see how I can build on it.
